Veterinarian and Owner, Dr. Jeffrey A. Baranack possesses over three decades of professional experience allowing a high degree of professionalism and sentimental care to his work, his patients and his clients.

Prior to launching his career, Dr. Baranack studied Animal Science and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Kent State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Upon completing his undergraduate education, he enrolled in The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine graduating top in his class in 1989 with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

He purchased West Side Animal Hospital in 2012 after almost two decades serving the Tuscarawas County area with many of his original clients still making the drive to Alliance.

Dr. Baranack currently lives in New Philadelphia, Ohio and travels to Alliance each morning with his wife, Tiffany and their 7 children, Bridget, Lorelei, Elliott, Coralie, Scarlet, Rosalie & Violett. At the end of the work day they make the drive to Akron for the older 5 children’s swim practice and keep busy traveling to swim meets on the weekends.

At home, Dr. Baranack has 8 Dogs: 3 Great Danes, Fibi, Fiona & Fabio; 3 Miniature Dachshunds, Archie, Millie & Lilly; an English Labrador Retreiever, Murdock & a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Romeo; 3 cats, George, Theodore & Daphne; 3 miniature horses, Royal, Star & Frost; and a rabbit Butterscotch.

In his free time, Dr. Baranack is an avid sports fan. Go Buckeyes!
